Peach Fuzz is a shop that's all the colors of the rainbow nestled on sweet California Ave in Humboldt Park, Chicago. The shop is tactile and hands on. Peach Fuzz wants your body and mind to be engaged while you find a toy that makes you think or a book that makes you feel. Claire Tibbs opened our doors and stocked our shelves with beautiful, sustainable and thoughtful items from around the world that hum with and inclusive and forward thinking trajectory in the summer of 2018. Peach Fuzz recognizes that it takes a village to raise a child and we can't sit idle while the children of the world demand and deserve the engagement of every citizen. Peach Fuzz imagines a kinder and more inclusive world where kids feel safe to explore their bodies, their identity, their voices and their communities without learned fear and limitations.
